March continued the theme of 2024 with much above normal temperatures and precipitation that was slightly below normal. There was no measurable snowfall during the month. A tornado outbreak on March 14 produced 7 tornadoes, one in Kentucky and six in Ohio Within the Wilmington forecast area. By the month’s end Ohio led the nation in 2024 tornadoes.
