The first half of meteorological winter was a rather cold and snowy one in the local area, but still not as “wintry” as some in the past. Nevertheless, the avg. temp from Dec 1 to Jan 15 at Dayton was only 25.7°F — the 14th coldest Dec 1 – Jan 15 period on record for the site!
