Snow melt, heavy rain, and flood potential next week

Confidence is growing in the potential for heavy precipitation across the region next week. A mix of rain and snow will likely affect the region Sunday into Monday. A second system will bring the possibility of heavy rain to our area next Tuesday into Wednesday. Stay tuned for updates- details will become clearer over the next several days.

Thus Far, February Is 4th Coldest On Record In Cincinnati

It has been very cold this February so far, but how cold? The average temperature at Cincinnati for this February (through 2/24) is currently 23.5 F. So far this ranks as the 4th coldest February on record (since 1873)! Dayton ranks 6th at 21.3 F (since 1894) and Columbus ranks 4th at 19.9 F (since 1879).
