Increasingly dry here, widespread increasing drought overall

Drought continues to expand over the area.  While southwest Ohio is not yet in drought, most of the tri-state is including all of Kentucky, all but southeast Indiana, and all of Ohio except the southwest.

At my location, we have had decent rain in June, but most of it fell on the first two days of the month.  It is becoming increasingly important to water.

Happy Easter…beautiful, sunny, and dry…

Happy Easter!

Not to push the pacic button…yet, but it’s dry out there, and little rain is in the forecast for the next week.  The upper layers of soil are dry, and getting drier.  New transplants and new trees will need water.
