0.69 inch of rain in the past week eased the dry conditions a bit but not enough to soak in very deeply. Lawns are re-greening due to moisture and cool temperatures. Trees and shrubs continue to show drought stress. Many are just drying up and dropping their leaves. Moderate drought continues in parts of the area.

Lawns are increasingly drought stressed. Drought stress showing up in trees, shrubs, landscape plants. Enhanced fire danger at times this week.
