There is a chance, albeit just a chance, of accumulating snow Saturday night. Snow will not harm budding trees. In fact, it would be protective. The cold may be enough to nip tender blossoms such as magnolia, but most will be OK. The cold is part of a significant weather pattern shift which will keep temperatures mostly below normal over the next two weeks and slow the progression of spring.
