THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST
THIS EVENING. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY EVENING ALONG
A NARROW AXIS FROM WAYNE COUNTY INDIANA DOWN INTO HAMILTON COUNTY
OHIO. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE.
THIS WILL RESULT IN STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES.
IN ADDITION...GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP THROUGH THIS EVENING AND THIS
WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW
ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS.
