Another winter storm is on tap for Wednesday night and Thursday, but don’t expect a crippling event in Cincinnati. Winter storm watches and warnings, and winter weather advisories, have been hoisted across parts of Kentucky for snow, sleet, and freezing rain. In Cincinnati, a couple inches or so of snow may fall, and this may end as a period of sleet or freezing rain. While messy conditions are possible, total precipitation will not be great. The fact that any freezing rain would be late in the system and light should keep this insignificant. About 1/2 inch of ice is necessary to damage power lines and trees, and we will be nowhere near that.
