It has been very cold this February so far, but how cold? The average temperature at Cincinnati for this February (through 2/24) is currently 23.5 F. So far this ranks as the 4th coldest February on record (since 1873)! Dayton ranks 6th at 21.3 F (since 1894) and Columbus ranks 4th at 19.9 F (since 1879). Active Weather Pattern, Details To Be Worked Out
It’s looking like a very active weather pattern late this weekend into next week. There will be milder temperatures and abundant precipitation. Rain? Snow? Sleet? Freezing rain? Thunder? Flooding? Melting snow? Accumulating snow? All of the above? Stay tuned. It’s way too early to say for sure.
