Description:
After becoming quite dry by the beginning of this past week, we had 1.49 inches of rain over the past 7 days. Some parts of the region had considerably more and some had less. Rivers rose some. Vegetation is lush. Some temporarily standing water quickly soaked in. Slightly browned lawns are greening again and crops stunted by drying hot weather are doing better.
