Description:

2.44 inches of rain over the past week after a very dry period. 3.18 inches of rain in August. Lawns and landscape plants are recovering from a very dry period. Damaging thunderstorm winds this past week broke several limbs and even a few large trees in the area locally this past week. Streams and rivers were largely unaffected by this week’s rains due to the antecedent dry conditions.
