Heavy rain and flooding possible later this week in the Ohio valley

Multiple rounds of rainfall will occur from Thursday into Saturday in the Ohio valley. Some of the rain could be heavy at times. There is uncertainty how much rain will occur and where the greatest amounts will fall, although current indications are that the potential is higher south of I-70. The rain will bring a threat for flooding, overland, along small streams, and on rivers.

Several inches of rain is possible in the Ohio valley later this week.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 48. Southwest wind 11 to 14 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 59. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
