Description:
Soil is wet. Ground is completely saturated with water with runoff from yards and hillsides. Standing water is severe and abundant. Water bodies are very elevated. Single storm total this week of 4.45 inches of rain is in the top 3 single storm events I have recorded since 1975. Flash flooding was some of the worst I have seen with water rescues and several homes severely damaged. A large number of homes had at least some water damage. I had a stream running through my garage for a couple hours. Limited river flooding due to fairly low water levels before rain fell.
