The threat for severe storms and flash flooding is increasing for Friday afternoon/evening. These storms will bring an enhanced risk of damaging winds, with some risk for large hail and maybe a tornado as well. With torrential rain in some storms, flash flooding may also occur.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Southeast Indiana, Northern
Kentucky and Southwest Ohio.

Friday through Wednesday.

Severe weather will be possible late Friday afternoon into Friday
night with damaging wind the primary threat. Isolated large hail
will also be possible. Thunderstorms will be capable of producing
locally heavy rainfall late Friday afternoon and Friday night,
leading to the potential for some flooding concerns.

Heat indices Friday afternoon will be in the mid to upper 90s.

A few strong to severe storms will be possible again Saturday
afternoon and evening. Damaging wind would be the primary threat on
Saturday.
