Strong Storm System, Potpourri Of Weather, and Very Energetic Weather Pattern

A huge late winter and early spring storm system will impact a large part of the country over the next few days. Winter storm conditions will follow several days of warmth in the plains while high winds and high wildfire danger surges south and east of the storm. Ultimately, severe weather will break out over a large area with heavy rains, flooding, thunderstorms, and tornadoes in some areas. Cold air will follow the storm. The anticipated active, energetic spring has arrived, and winter is very slow to ease its grip.
