Touch of Winter Saturday, a Nice Sunday, but more Rain and Flood Threats

A sloppy, wintry day is on tap in Cincinnati Saturday with some wet snow and rain mixed. With warm ground and generally above freezing temperatures, little if any accumulation is expected. A sunny Sunday will be followed by a week of rain, some heavy. The Ohio River is headed to flood stage and above. Only minor flooding is currently forecast but later forecasts will need to be watched.

Heavy rain in the past week has put a major dent in the droughts in the east and southeast. Further reductions are likely in the next week.
