Happy Easter!
Not to push the pacic button…yet, but it’s dry out there, and little rain is in the forecast for the next week. The upper layers of soil are dry, and getting drier. New transplants and new trees will need water.

Spring is here…to stay it appears. The two week outlook is for continued very warm temperatures.
This will accellerate the onset of spring and the progression of plants and insects. It may also increase plant vulnerability to late freezes should we have a late cold snap. Frosts can occur into May in Cincinnati. Plant insect and bloom time phenology can be followed here>>>
A widespread severe weather outbreak is expected today with large hail, damaging winds, and numerous tornadoes possible. This is a significant weather threat. Stay tuned to local media and weather radio for updates. Remember, the policy in Hamilton County has been changed and the tornado sirens will ONLY be set off for a tornado warning. So, if you hear the sirens a tornado has been detected. Also, a watch means a tornado can develop at any time even without a warning. If weather gets rough, assume a tornado is possible and take cover. Take this seriously today.
