* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and ice accumulations of a
light glaze expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of Southeast Indiana, Northern Kentucky and
South Central and Southwest Ohio.

* WHEN…From 2 PM Saturday to 8 AM EST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet
and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

Multiple intrusions of arctic air. Subzero temperatures appear likely as far south as the Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians.

Frosts and freezes are also possible across portions of the citrus growing regions of Florida.

A high risk of much below-normal temperatures is possible during the last week of January through the first of February for the Great Lakes, Midwest, and Ohio Valley tied to multiple intrusions of arctic air. Subzero temperatures appear likely as far south as the Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians. Strong winds are likely to help usher this cold air southward, leading to dangerously cold wind chills across the Midwest.
