Only 0.29 inches of rain over the last 7 days as well as for the month of October after a very wet September. The first 9 days of October had temperatures averaging in the middle 80’s with very high drying rates. Surface moisture had totally dried out until the light rain of recent days. Swales were drying out. Soils retain deeper moisture. Vegetation remains lush with no drought stress.
