Showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will accompany a cold front Saturday night. Some storms may become severe with damaging winds as the primary threat. A vigorous low pressure system will move across the Great Lakes on Sunday. Strong winds are expected over the area with gusts approaching 60 mph, potentially causing power outages or tree damage.
