Arbor Doctor Storm total forecast (Hamilton Co.): 2-4 east to 3-5 west

Pavement forecast Hamilton County: Trace to 2 slushy inches. Given the warm ground temperatures, I don’t agree with the “impossible” wording below. Morning rush hour will be a challenge. Evening rush should be pretty good.

Spring Snow Storm On Tap For Ohio Valley (Revised)

More snow is on the way starting tonight and continuing into Wednesday. Use caution if traveling as roads may become slick (especially Wednesday morning).

Snow, some heavy, is expected in Cincinnati and the Ohio valley Tuesday night and Wednesday. With the warm ground temperature and high sun angle, the greatest accumulation will occur at night and snow will have difficulty accumulating on pavement. Snow which does accumulate on pavement will be slushy and relatively short lived.

Arbor Doctor Snowfall Forecast On Natural Surfaces: 2-4 inches with isolated 4 -6 inch amounts possible.

Arbor Doctor Snowfall Forecast On Pavement: 1-2 slushy inches

Accumulating Snow Likely In Ohio Valley Tuesday Night Into Wednesday

A low pressure system will move through the Ohio Valley Tuesday night and Wednesday. As it does, rain and snow will transition to all snow Tuesday evening with snow then continuing into the day on Wednesday. While several inches of snow may fall, pavement temperatures are quite warm this time of year. Travel conditions may become difficult during the heaviest snow, but highest accumulations will be on natural surfaces and pavement will likely be wet to slushy. Any increase in accumulation forecasts may increase accumulation potential on pavement, but only for the short term.

Natural surface accumulation: 2-4 inches with higher  amounts possible
Pavement accumulation: 0-2 wet, slushy inches WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE IN SPOTS
