Messy Saturday Morning Possible In Cincinnati

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for East Central Indiana,
Southeast Indiana, Northeast Kentucky, Northern Kentucky,
Central Ohio, South Central Ohio, Southwest Ohio and West
Central Ohio.

A storm system will lift into the region Friday night into
Saturday. Ahead of the system, precipitation will overrun
the region Friday night. Surface temperatures are forecast
to be at or below freezing Saturday morning, bringing a
threat of some freezing rain to the region.

Warm Spring Weather Is Coming, Or Not

Sometimes the weather does as it wants. A warm February has turned into a wintry March. Indications were that temperatures would get more spring-like in the east after the official first day of astronomical spring. Well, not so fast.  After the latest east coast bomb cyclone, computer models seem to be abandoning the spring warm up. While temperatures may warm some this weekend, the 2 week trend is looking chilly and active. More snow? Perhaps for some!

...SNOW SQUALLS POSSIBLE TODAY...

Scattered snow showers are expected today. In addition, intense snow
squalls will be possible late this morning into this evening. Snow
squalls can cause rapid changes in visibility and hazardous driving
conditions even though accumulations will be under an inch.

If you are traveling today, be prepared for rapidly changing
visibility and the possibility of slick spots on area roadways.
